Avenged Sevenfold: It's 'Almost Easy' To Love Them

With a band name coming out of a reference in the Bible, it's little wonder that the music of Avenged Sevenfold is packed with thought-provoking meaning.

Commonly referred to as A7X, this American rock band, formed in 1999, hails from Orange County, California. But it was only in 2005 that they achieved commercial success with City of Evil its first single "Bat Country" was a surprisingly huge smash.

A7X released their eagerly-awaited self-titled 4th album in late 2007, which debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200. The record spawned glorious scream-fests like "Afterlife" and "Dear God," cementing their status as a rock/heavy metal mainstay in the music industry.

Just this month, A7X released their latest DVD/CD package, Live in the LBC & Diamonds in the Rough. Recently in town for their first headlining concert, the boys took a little time off their soundcheck, spoke to MTV Asia about "Seizing the Day," spending a bomb on room service and recording with Jim Henson.
